CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD CONFIRMED RELEASES FROM EFE CONFIRMED RELEASE FROM SUNSTAR PRESS RELEASE FROM CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD LTD TransBus Mini Pointer Dart UKBUS3007 – Go-North East Further to the previous release of its bus replica with Go-Ahead group company livery – UKBUS2006 Brighton & Hove - CMN is releasing its second Go-Ahead bus model, this time carrying a Go-North East destination. This is UKBUS3007, a Go-North East MPD. The Go-North East MPD replica carries the fleet number 574 and registration number NK53 TMZ. It represents one of a batch of 26 Mini Pointer Darts delivered to Go North East towards the end of 2003 from TransBus International. Since 1999 the MPD has been the standard choice for minibus deliveries to the company and there is now a total of 89 vehicles of this type in the fleet. This latest batch features the Cummins ISBe 135bhp 4 cylinder Euro 3 engine and they operate from depots at Deptford, South Shields and Chester le Street, this example being based at the latter. This is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the gasket windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. The model also features excellent detailing, inside and out, including an opening engine door, showing the detailed environmentally friendly Euro 3 engine. All grab rails feature inside the replica and in their correct positions. The construction method of this replica permits realistic-looking front and rear lights – in particular the front headlamp/indicator assembly whose headlamp is transparent and indicator is translucent. In a similar way to the UKBUS2006 Brighton & Hove Trident, UKBUS3007 has a full-width rear destination blind, which is seen for the first time on the UKBUS3000 range tooling. It shows the destination as well as the route number at the rear. To accommodate the full destination display, the rear number plate has been relocated to the rear bumper and, in its pursuit for accuracy, CMNL has re-tooled the casting to place the rear number plate correctly inset within the rear bumper. The brand new UKBUS3007 Go-North East MPD bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively.
