CORGI COMMISSIONED MODEL - TIM DRAPERS
Further to my News of last Friday, I have some additional information. I understand that the model is listed in the Corgi Collectors Club magazine and states the stock code is: CP46114. The text in the magazine goes onto say: "The business of Tim Draper’s Golden Holidays was established 25 years ago and has been run by the family ever since. The business was started with one 14 seat minibus and progressed to 14 vehicles in the fleet in 2002, which included coaches, double deckers and minibuses. The work was varied and included school contracts, private hire and holidays. Today there are 5 vehicles which include 2 Plaxton Panthers, of which ‘Lulu’ (the one modelled) is one”.

I emailed Tim Drapers at the weekend asking if they could supply more information and perhaps email me a photograph of the model but have not yet received a reply.

As per the update to my Friday evening News, the name Lulu ties in with registration number B12 TMD. For those not familiar with this vehicle, I have found a photograph on line at:  http://www.bus-and-coach-photos.com/picture/number6009.asp

CORGI OOC MODELS OM46504A&B WRIGHT GEMINI 2 - ARRIVA LONDON
I have recently been made aware of rumours concerning the above model to the effect that it had either been cancelled or was now being a Corgi Direct only model. I have therefore made enquiries to clarify the position. A source in the trade has received the below comments from a Corgi representative today when the matter was raised with him:

"...this product has been dropped from the range altogether, it is not a direct only. We are looking for a replacement".

When questioned as to why a London bus (which are generally good sellers had been dropped) the representative replied:

"It was a licence issue, I'm told the replacement will be a London bus".

I will keep you posted if anything further is heard.

NEWS OF A CORGI COMMISSIONED MODEL
I have received a report that Tim Drapers Golden Holidays have commissioned a model of one of their coaches. The following text was received from Tim Drapers:

"The Model is one of 1000 numbered limited edition. We have just taken delivery of this specially commissioned model and if you send a cheque for £34.99 plus £5 p+p and your return address we will forward one to you as soon as it clears. The address is

Derbyshire
DE55 7BQ"

No further details are known at this time, can anyone assist?

UPDATE: It appears the model is a Volvo B12M Plaxton Panther coach, an unboxed example bearing the index number B12 TMD sold on eBay four days ago from a Hong Kong seller.

CORRECTION TO CORGI RELEASE DATES
Many thanks to Neil at Time Tunnel Models for pointing out an error by Corgi on last weeks release update. Corgi advised me that the release of models OM46705A&B had been brought forward from week commencing 8th September Wright Eclipse 2 - National Express Dundee. Neil has contacted Corgi as they had advised him that due to a Warehouse move they would not be releasing any models until after the move (September). Corgi confirmed that the 25th August date was in error and the release date should be week commencing 8th September as originally advised.
