2007 RANGE PRICE INCREASE EXPLANATION Corgi have today issued the following explanation for the price increases announced in the 2007 catalogue: "Further to the release of the 2007 catalogue and price list we would like to communicate to all of our customers the commercial reasoning for the increases. Over the last 12 months Corgi have faced increased costs in all areas of manufacturing; Zinc raw material costs have increased by 142%, Plastic Raw material costs have increased by 10% and Chinese labour costs have increased by 20%. As a business Corgi will absorb some of this cost but not all and therefore this has led to increases on our list prices for 2007". Thursday 26 October 2006 |

On previous occasions I have received comments from people unable to read the text of the scanned image as it was to small. This year I have added some "Supersized Images". Please note these are large files (up to 250KB) and will not display full screen as they are too large. It will be necessary to scroll up and down, left and right to view them. If not viewing this site via Broadband the pages may take sometime to download. I have also included smaller scans which will display full screen so the whole page can be viewed in one go. Regular

PRESS
RELEASE FROM CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD LTD CMNL News Castings for 2007 Creative Master Northcord Limited (CMNL) is pleased to announce its plans for NEW and UPDATED castings for 2007 Mercedes-Benz Citaro (UKBUS5000 range) The existing Citaro casting will be face-lifted to replicate the forthcoming Citaro Euro V version that has already been announced by the German manufacturer. It is expected that the new bus will be shown to the Trade at the forthcoming Euro Bus Expo 2006. Alexander Dennis Enviro200Dart Also for 2007 CMNL will produce the new Enviro200Dart model. CMNL anticipates that it will be replicated in model form in only 2 of the available lengths, certainly to begin with. Because this bus is in the early days of release to customers, CMNL is unable to break confidentiality with ADL by revealing, in detail, the anticipated operator liveries that the first models will carry. As 2007 comes upon us, and as deliveries gather pace, CMNL will announce its plans for this new casting by means of its News Releases of Forthcoming Models that are normally issued by the end of each December, April and August, for the following 4 month period. New Product Line – UKBUSplus CMNL is pleased to be able to announce its plans to make the new product line, namely UKBUSplus. The first items will focus on the replicas of Bus Shelters, Off-road Ticketing Machines as well as Bus Stops. All UKBUSplus replicas will be in 1/76 scale that will be associated with current UKBUSbus model ranges. Information about CMNL products is updated regularly on the Official CMNL Website : http://www.creativemasternorthcord.com/en/index.php Creative Master Northcord Limited (CMNL) ------The World’s Miniature Bus Co.
