My subscriber copy of Model Collector magazine has arrived and has details and photographs of a new 76th scale resin model being produced in collaboration between George Hatt of Digbys Miniature Automobiles and Julian Bowden of Model Buses. The model features the AEC Renown single deck 3axle "Scooter" London Transport. It will be limited to 300 pieces. Details as follows. The manufacturer of the model is not known although I understand it is NOT a Jotus model:

event being held this weekend to launch the "Walk 38" project:
Celebrate 100 years of the 38
one of London’s most famous bus routes
1912 - 2012
Arriva London and Maggie’s have come together to encourage everyone to ‘Walk the 38’ in 2012, in celebration of the route’s centenary and in order to raise money for Maggie’s. Together we can help thousands of people living with cancer in the capital.
To officially launch the “Walk the 38” project, Arriva London will be holding a weekend of celebrations on the 16th and 17th June 2012.
The celebrations commence with the display of three Arriva Heritage Fleet buses on the Piazza in London’s Covent Garden.
Saturday 16th June 2012
08:00 Three Routemaster buses, RMC 1464, RML 901 and RM5, arrive on Piazza, Covent Garden.
11:00 London Transport Museum opens to the public.
11:15 Maggie’s and Arriva London volunteers will be on the Piazza to explain the “Walk the 38” project, and offer the opportunity to enter a competition to win an Arriva Heritage Fleet Routemaster for a day.
Visitors can also register their interest in purchasing 1:76 scale models of RMC 1464 and RML 901.
11:45 Welcome to participants “Walking the 38” from Arriva London and Skolars Rugby League team.
12:30 Introduction to the celebration of 100 years of route 38.
12:45 Cut and distribute the Centenary birthday cake.

The following news has been revived this evening from Anne Letch:
The latest (12th) edition of "EFE & CORGI OOC MODEL BUSES" is soon to be released on 1st July at the North Weald Bus Rally. The edition for this year will include all the new releases from EFE and CORGI OOC etc as usual, but this year will also include full details of B-T, Forward, Jotus and TTC models.
The guide for 2012, which is priced at £16.50 can also be purchased post free mail-order. Purchasers are advised that the next issue of this guide will not be released until 2014. However a supplement will be produced in July 2013 which will update the 2012 edition. This 2013 supplement will be sent free of charge to all mail-order purchasers but will be available to all other purchasers at £2.20. The guide for this year will be a limited issue and all orders received before 1st July will be guaranteed to be supplied.
