After 38 years this was the last event to be held at Redhill Road before the Museum closes for it's move to the new premises at Brooklands. The day was very wet at times and damp for the remainder, fortunately it was not cold. Michael Wickam from the Museum, has written to me and advised me that "We had a record attendance for one of these events - around 650 people attended". He further advised that "there are just a handful of the RMC models left (over 90% sold) and these can be obtained by mail order as per your report of 2 September".

There were numerous vehicles on display both at Redhill Road and at Stoke D'Abernon railway station which was served by a frequent bus service on a variety of vehicles from very old to relatively new.

There were a number of stalls in the main hanger and also outside and EFE had a number of new models on display. Shown below are a selection of photographs showing the new models announced at the Show together with photographs of some other recently announced models.
