News_Showbus Report 2012

Firstly the usual weather report. A glorious day, 20 degree, overcast in the morning but sunny intervals in the afternoon and a brisk breeze.

TTC Diecast had three new models on sale today, see photographs below:
Resin:
RES1001SB Volvo Ailsa V3 - London Northern (This is a different version of the previously released V3 but has been issued with the a stock code issued previously. To differentiate from the previously issued model in my listing I have added an SB suffix)
RES7001A Optare Spectra - Metroline
Only a small quantity of both above models was on sale. TTC Diecast will be taking delivery of the main stock early October.

UKBUS1040SB ALX400 Stagecoach - Cambridge
This model was limited to 50 pieces some of which were used as Rally prizes. It has sold out before I left at 16.30

General News:
TTC Diecast were taking pre-orders for a number of models on their stall today, I have listed these below. Unless stated approximate release dates are not know at the moment. A couple of points of note:

RES5002 Versa Stagecoach Wales was initially announced as a Scottish model but is being changed to Wales to cover all regions of the country. Scotland is represented by the two Lothian Solos SR's

RES8001 BEA Regal. TTC Diecast advise that they have almost sold their full allocation. If you would like one of these models please contact TTC Diecast ASAP to check availability (details on Stockists page CLICK HERE)

A small number of these models were on sale at Showbus having been flown in specially ahead of the main batch which is due for release during October. This is a different version of the previously released V3 (under stock code RES1001) but has been issued with the the stock code issued previously. 	DUPLE DOMINANT - SOUTHDOWN NBC This photographs was taken at Cambridge Station on 16th September 2012 and shows NBC Southdown fleet number 1337 (EAP937V) . This is a sister vehicle to EAP 936V with a Brighton & Hove fleet-name as represented by BT-Models model B004. For a while the coach stopped by the City Sightseeing bus stop and several people went to it thinking there was an offer of a lift to Duxford. Photograph © John Bennett

	MORRIS COMMERCIAL CVF (1948) - JERSEY MOTOR TRANSPORT This photograph shows fleet number 71 ( OSJ512). It had ‘Mary Ann’ adverts on the offside (a Jersey brewery), Dubonnet on the rear and, as you can see, Robertson’s Golden Shred complete with ‘golliwog’ on the nearside. 	VAN HOOL ALIZEE - ROBINSONS HOLIDAYS This photograph shows fleet number 226 (SIL1531) a 1989 DAF MB230 with Van Hool Alizee body. Apparently it was new to Robinsons (aka Ribblesdale) and originally registered (F226THG). Corgi OOC represented fleet number 246 (J246LFR) as model 42721. Photograph © John Bennett
