Corgi have released the latest pre-production photographs of the above model together with the accompanying text:

Corgi News is please to reveal images of the first pre-production sample of the newly tooled Wright Eclipse 2 carrying the attractive livery of Bus Éireann. OM46702A/B will be the third release from the new tooling, following on from OM46701a/B Wilts & Dorset and OM46703A/B Lothian, both featured in the July-December 2013 Corgi catalogue.

This dual destination model is headed for Blarney on route 215 as OM46702A and Farranree via Parklands on route 203 as OM46702B. This limited edition Original Omnibus model is due for release in January 2014.

CORGI OOC MODEL NO LONGER GOING TO BE PRODUCED
I have received the following from Corgi regarding this model - OM41310A/B Wright Fusion First Leeds, dual destination:

"Please note that due to manufacturing issues with this product we are not going to be able to produce this model. With regret we have had to make the decision to cancel this line. Corgi apologizes for any inconvenience caused".

CORGI OOC MODEL CHANGE OF DETAILS
Corgi have announced a change of details for model OM46609A & B New Bus for London, Metroline:

"Corgi is delighted to announce ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ as the new addition to the successful Original Omnibus Collection of New Bus for London models.

In partnership with Transport for London, Metroline and CBS Outdoor, this new route number 24 model will be available in two destination panel options; A – Pimlico and B – Parliament Square.
The Limited Edition model, which will be released in March next year (RRP £36.99) comes complete with an individually numbered limited edition certificate.

Corgi Marketing Manager Martyn Weaver said: “The West End Show New Bus for London models have been extremely popular and when we heard that the Route 24 operated by Metroline were to be carrying this striking ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ advertising campaign we could see straight away that this would make a great model and we are grateful that we have been able to add this to our on-going collection of model buses.”

MODELZONE RECOMMENCE TRADING
Modelzone have reported today that they have recommenced trading. The first new store has opened inside a branch of WH Smith in Union St, Birmingham. Further branches will open by 23rd November in Cardiff, Croydon, Gateshead Metro, Glasgow, Kingston upon Thames, White City, Manchester Arndale, Meadowhall and Reading.
