PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLE - OM46702 WRIGHT ECLIPSE 2 BUS ÉIREANN Corgi News is please to reveal images of the first pre-production sample of the newly tooled Wright Eclipse 2 carrying the attractive livery of Bus Éireann. OM46702A/B will be the third release from the new tooling, following on from OM46701a/B Wilts & Dorset and OM46703A/B Lothian, both featured in the July-December 2013 Corgi catalogue. This dual destination model is headed for Blarney on route 215 as OM46702A and Farranree via Parklands on route 203 as OM46702B. DETAILS "Corgi is delighted to announce ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ as the new addition to the successful Original Omnibus Collection of New Bus for London models. In partnership with Transport for London, Metroline and CBS Outdoor, this new route number 24 model will be available in two destination panel options; A – Pimlico and B – Parliament Square. Corgi Marketing Manager Martyn Weaver said: “The West End Show New Bus for London models have been extremely popular and when we heard that the Route 24 operated by Metroline were to be carrying this striking ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ advertising campaign we could see straight away that this would make a great model and we are grateful that we have been able to add this to our on-going collection of model buses.” CLICK HERE to view an updated pre-production photograph of the model.
