I am very grateful to C'sM for
supplying photographs (see below) showing the two different liveries to be released
on their forthcoming 1/50th scale model MCW73101 Metrobus LT Airbus A1 MK1 Double Door.
At this time I am not sure which will be version A and which will be version B.
C'sM have also confirmed that the quantity to be released of each will be 200
pieces. I will let you have further information as soon as I receive it.

Gallery Page
In response to a number of requests I have decided to get the Photo Gallery page up and running. Do you have any good quality digital photographs of "real buses" you would like to be included on the site? Ones that you think would be of interest to other visitors. If you have, please e-mail them to me (link at the top of this page). All makes, models, fleets etc welcome. To make it more interesting, if possible could you please give me a brief description of the photograph e.g. make and model of bus, when and where taken etc. My only proviso would be as to the size of the file (approx 100KB max per photo please) because of download time etc. As with all photographs displayed on this site your name would be acknowledged against each photograph unless you specifically asked me not to. In particular I would like to receive any photographs you may have of real buses that have been released in model form, as this will enable visitors to compare the real thing against the model in their cabinet. Please note: I am always very pleased to receive good quality digital photographs of models you have in your collection for use on the site. Corgi OOC 2nd half releases: Due to the large number of model variants in this year's second half (not just buses), it looks like the rumoured Open Top Blackpool tram and the Utility Trolleybus have been postponed to 2003 Tuesday 14 May 2002 |

My copy of the Corgi OOC Club
newsletter arrived this morning. There are articles regarding 2nd half releases
and one by Vic Davey on the AEC Regent 2. Also enclosed is a new fleet list
giving very basic details of OOC releases. There is no mention of the OOC Club
member's Lodekka offer which was mentioned in the last newsletter.

production run for this model will be 8000 pieces of which 1500 will be
allocated to the UK
Model Collector Magazine have advised me that they will begin despatching the reader offer Guy Arab Southdown OM43909 within the next few weeks. I have received the following query from a visitor to the site. Can anyone help? Please e-mail me if you can and I will pass on the answer: "The West Midlands Travel Timesaver Bus was released in 1990 circa, approx 1/64 scale. Why was it released in two separate versions? The first being the standard release with the phone number print on the bottom rear of the bus in blue, and the second (poss. rare????) same livery but the phone number printed in red".
