MASTER NORTHCORD LTD - ARCHIE BUS The following email was received today from Joe Mackie at First Aberdeen: "Thanks for your help in the past to sell the Archie Buses. Sales have been great with us having given £43,000 to the fund already and the hospital should have a royal opening later this year. The hospital fund closes mid July 2004 and therefore we are keen to sell the small stock still available. As a special offer to your site visitors we would sell the buses at £23 inclusive of postage in the UK". Joe Mackie 01224 650005 If you would like to order one of the few remaining models please contact Joe Mackie ASAP. Please make Cheques payable to "Model Archie Bus". CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD - PRESS RELEASE TransBus Mini Pointer Dart ----UKBUS3005 – Solent Blue Line When the British people were focused on the activities of the D-Day 60th anniversary celebrations in the last couple of months, certain places in Southern England became familiar names to us, e.g. Isle of Wight, Southampton, Portsmouth, etc. During the period around D-Day, these areas played a significant role and the British people will never forget them. Today, CMNL is releasing a new TransBus MPD replica - UKBUS3005 - that carries the livery of Solent Blue Line, part of the Isle of Wight based Southern Vectis group, which was established in 1987 and is based in Southampton. The Solent Blue Line MPD replica carries the fleet number 582 and registration number SN03 LDU. In May 2003, a new Quality Network for Eastleigh brought simpler routes, easy to remember times and improved frequencies. Twelve TransBus Mini Pointer Darts were introduced giving easy access, digital CCTV and LED destinations with a smart new livery and fleet name style. All the above features have now happened in this 1 : 76 scale replica. This is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the gasket windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. The model also features excellent detailing, inside and out, including an opening engine door, showing the detailed environmentally friendly Euro 3 engine. All grab rails feature inside the replica and in their correct positions. The construction method of this replica permits realistic-looking front and rear lights – in particular the front headlamp/indicator assembly and rear stop/tail units. The brand new UKBUS3005 Solent Blue Line MPD bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. RELH COACH - UNITED CHANGE OF DETAILS In response to my news article of 4 June 2004, many of you kindly advised me that the registration number I quoted in respect of the above model was incorrect. To clarify the situation I have today spoken with EFE who advised me that the registration number shown on their trade sheet was incorrect. The registration number should read MHN 62K and not MHO 62K as previously advised. I am assured by EFE that the model will be released with the correct registration number. Monday 7 June 2004 |
