MASTER NORTHCORD - PRESS RELEASE UKBUS6015 Alexander Dennis Enviro400 Cambridge Park & Ride Creative Master Northcord Limited is pleased to announce the release of Alexander Dennis Enviro400 UKBUS6015, which has allover Cambridge Park & Ride route branding colour. Cambridge Park & Ride service is funded by Cambridgeshire County Council and operated by Stagecoach in Cambridge. UKBUS6015 represents fleet number 19300 (AE07 KZA). The Prestigious Cambridge Park & Ride serves five sites around the city. Each of the three routes is colour coordinated using four blue, seven red and eight green liveried buses. These are supported by two spare vehicles in grey, of which 19300 is a fine example of these Enviro400 vehicles introduced during 2007. Creative Master Northcord is creating new design standards in the layout of the interior of both saloons. The features inside the compartments represent the really outstanding layout of the bus, including the extensive portrayal of handrails on both upper and lower decks and replicating the additional monitors in both saloons. The headlights at the front are made of individual components to look more realistic. Cambridge Park & Ride vehicles are quite popular in CMNL product lists. The previous Cambridge Park & Ride replicas are UKBUS1015, an Alexander ALX400-bodied Dennis Trident with blue colour route branding livery, and the special UKBUS1030 in “Pink and Ride” livery for the Cancer Research UK charity. The brand new Enviro400 bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Transit Graphics (Australia), cnmycar.com (P. R. China), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS6015 model is limited to 1200 pieces worldwide. Photograph

MASTER NORTHCORD - PRESS RELEASE UKBUS8007 Alexander Dennis Enviro200Dart Stagecoach in Hampshire Creative Master Northcord Limited is pleased to announce the release of Alexander Dennis Enviro200Dart UKBUS8007, the 10.7m long wheelbase version with gasket windows of the casting of this distinctive modern single-decker in the United Kingdom. The third livery to be carried on this version of the brand new model is Stagecoach in Hampshire. It has jazz 6 route branding decoration. UKBUS8007 represents fleet number 36028 (GX07 HUV). July 2007 saw Stagecoach in Hampshire upgrade route 6 in Basingstoke, which became part of the ‘jazz’ network of bus routes, with 3 ADL Enviro200Darts. The jazz 6 route runs every 10 minutes between Basingstoke town centre and the Winklebury estate. The buses are branded for the route and following a local competition, three teenagers and a married couple won the chance to appear on the vehicles. Even though the UKBUS8007 has only one decoration at the back of the bus, collectors could simply change the face at the back by putting the additional water-decoration on it. There are two additional water-decorations packaged together with the Limited Edition Certificate inside the box. The Alexander Dennis Enviro200Dart UKBUS8007 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-mounted, gasket windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Creative Master Northcord is creating new design standards in the layout of the interior in the replica. These features inside the compartment represent the really outstanding layout of the Enviro200Dart, such as the additional seats on the wheel arch on the offside, and extensive portrayal of handrails in the compartment. The brand new Enviro200Dart bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Transit Graphics (Australia), Porte Publishing Company (Japan), cnmycar.com (P.R. China) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS8007 model is limited to 1200 pieces worldwide. Photograph

SUBSCRIBER NEWSLETTER COBHAM
BUS MUSEUM COMMISSIONED MODEL FOR FATHERS DAY 15 JUNE 2008 "Cobham Bus Museum is pleased to announce details of the special limited-edition EFE model which will be available at the Museum on Sunday 15 June. The day features a celebration of rear-engined buses with a special display at the Museum in Redhill Road, Cobham as well as many interesting vehicles in service on the day. More details on the Museum's web-site at www.lbpt.org To commemorate the event, the Museum has commissioned from EFE a model of XF8 working Central Area route 271 on a garage journey, destination Holloway Road, Pemberton Gardens. London Transport bought, on an experimental basis, two batches of its first rear-engined double-deckers in 1965/6 in order to test these in service, to compare them with the Routemaster and to help it decide which type to purchase in the future. There were 8 Daimler Fleetlines, coded XF, and 50 Leyland Atlanteans, coded XA. In the event, the Fleetlines performed better and LT later bought large production batches of those. As part of the experiment, the XFs, although delivered in Country Area green for service at East Grinstead garage, were allocated to Central Area garages on two occasions, the first time to Highgate (HT) garage between April and July 1966 and it is this period of service which the Cobham model represents. There will be just 250 models issued, exclusively available at the event. The model carries correct blinds and advertisements and there is no reference to the event on it, those details appear on the certificate". To view photographs of the model click on the links below:
