3RD SUBSCRIBER NEWSLETTER 2016 The 3rd Subscriber newsletter arrived this morning. My Joyce tells how he had a serious health scare and after a week in hospital is now back at work part-time. I am sure everybody would wish him a quick recovery. Mr Joyce again mentions production issues in China which are continuing to affect release dates. He states this is why some models appear for release "out of the blue" with no prior notice. Six new models are announced and these are as follows. BUS MUSEUM - ROUTEMASTER SUMMER 26 JUNE 2016 I attended the London Bus Museum event last weekend and had a really enjoyable day out. The weather was good with no rain and for most of the time a nice event layer of thin cloud which cut down on heavy shadows in photographs. There were approximately 40 Routemaster's on display plus some other buses. When I went through my photographs I found that 16 of the buses on display have been or are to be represented in model form plus two other were close relations to buses that had been modelled. These buses were: CRL4, RM1,RM158, RM254, RM1368, RM1783, RM1933, RM2208, RM2760, RMC1453, RMC1461, RML2499, RT2177, RTL139, STL2377. In addition two Routemaster's were sister vehicles to ones modelled RML900 (sister to RML901) and RM545 (sister to RM546). Finally TD95 was present which is the model to be produced by Ruby Models (as reported last June). London Omnibus Models had their third model on sale, LOM3 featuring Fender Guitar liveried LT100 which has been produced in a run of 20 models. Towards the end of the afternoon, only two remained with 18 having been sold. I took some photographs of the model on the stall which you can view below: LOM3
