MASTER NORTHCORD - PRESS RELEASE UKBUS5008 Mercedes-Benz Citaro Plymouth Citybus Creative Master Northcord Limited is proud to release another brand new livery model on its well known Mercedes-Benz Citaro casting. It is UKBUS5008 carrying Plymouth Citybus colours. UKBUS5008 represents fleet number 82 (WJ55 HLK). This Mercedes Citaro is one of eight such vehicles that were delivered to this municipal operator in autumn 2005. They wear the revised Citybus livery and logo and have been put to work on the important City centre Plympton Services 21 and 51 where these striking buses are helping to entice “die hard” motorists from their cars and onto public transport. The Mercedes-Benz Citaro UKBUS5008 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-mounted, double-glazed windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on the UKBUS5008 model is its extensive portrayal of handrails. The headlight / indicator units at the front and indicator / tail light units at the rear are made of individual components to look more realistic. The brand new single-door Mercedes-Benz Citaro bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS5008 model is limited to 1800 pieces worldwide.
