IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: In early January my web hosting company will be swapping the site over to a new server as they will be closing the old one down. They assure me that there will not be too many problems. However, I have worked with computers long enough to know that major upgrades rarely go as smoothly as technicians say they will. It is possible that service may be lost for a couple of days. If it does please do not panic I will be back on line asap. I will put a notice on the site before the upgrade goes ahead.

NORTHCORD MODEL COMPANY - PRESS RELEASE The following press release has been received this morning from the Northcord Model Company UKBUS8020 and UKBUS8021 Alexander-Dennis Enviro200 London United RATP Group and Go-Ahead London General Northcord Model Company is proud to release its first modified tooling on the former CMNL Enviro200 tooling. This is launched on UKBUS8020, London United RATP Group, and UKBUS8021, Go-Ahead London General. Both models feature the revised front bumper and headlamp cluster that ADL first introduced at Coach and Bus Live 2009. The lower grp panels received a protrusion at the bottom of the corner panels making, in effect, a small “bumper”. The headlamp cluster retained the familiar shape and the same size as before with the driving lights and indicator being moved closer together and nearer to the top of the unit to allow space for daytime LED lights, if fitted. Whether or not the LED lights are fitted, the new panel is identical. UKBUS8020 features London United RATP Group DLE1 (SN60 EAX) carrying the standard, all red TfL livery with London United RATP fleetnames working on route H98 to Hounslow Bus Station (via Harlington). UKBUS8021 features Go-Ahead London General SE53 (YX60 EOL) carrying the distinctive Go-Ahead London livery of red with grey skirt and yellow coachline working on route 170 to Victoria (via Wandsworth). The replicas feature excellent detailing, inside and out, such as realistic-looking handpoles and handrails. The Enviro200 model is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. The brand new UKBUS8020 and UKBUS8021 models are each based on a Limited Edition of only 504 pieces produced. To view photographs: UKBUS8020 Alexander-Dennis Enviro200

The model as replicated is London United RATP Group SP164 (YP59 OEZ) on route 10 to King’s Cross with ‘via Kensington’ carried in the side destination. The replica features excellent detailing, inside and out, such as realistic-looking handpoles and handrails. This is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible.
