HAPPY
CHRISTMAS Best wishes for Christmas and a very happy New Year. Many thanks to everyone who has written wishing me a happy Christmas, all the mails have been very much appreciated. I would like to apologise for the reduced number of updates over the past week or so, unfortunately I have been unwell recently with a nasty stomach problem which resulted in a few days in hospital and me being signed off work for a couple of weeks. Thankfully I am now feeling a lot better and hoping I will feel like eating my Christmas dinner tomorrow! Sunday 24 December 2006 |

Some detail may change during production. http://www.creativemasternorthcord.com/en/index.php CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD - PRESS RELEASE Dublin Bus UKBUS1028 TransBus ALX 400 – Bodied Dennis Trident Creative Master Northcord Limited (CMNL) is again writing another new chapter in both Irish and UK model bus history. CMNL has released its first replica in the new Dublin Bus livery (blue / yellow) on its well-known casting – the TransBus / Alexander ALX 400 bodied – Dennis Trident. It is the second low-floor double-decker bus replica with Dublin Bus colours. Dublin Bus has 10 Tridents and these were the first Dennis vehicles Dublin Bus had ever bought. The vehicles are 10.5 metres in length with a single door at the front. UKBUS1028 represents fleet number DT5 (03-D-10005). The replica features excellent detailing, inside and out, including an opening engine door and engine detail. The most outstanding feature on the model is the curved windscreen. It is also the main identifying feature specified by Dublin Bus. The windscreen was designed by TransBus to reduce windscreen reflection and is also fitted to the Dublin Bus ALX400-bodied Volvos. This is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible, in both Irish and English. The model has no ugly metal poles to hold it together. The brand new Dublin Bus model is based on a Limited Edition with 1700 pieces produced. They will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), SJ Enterprises Limited (Ireland), Transit Graphics (Australia), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. It is Menzies Aviation’s Scania OmniCity, running on the Rail Replacement Bus Service between Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 and Hatton Cross Station. UKBUS7003 represents fleet number T54 (YN53 GFG). As part of the Piccadilly Line extension to the new Heathrow Terminal 5, Heathrow Terminal 4 Underground Station was closed from early this year to September 2006. A replacement bus service was operated between Hatton Cross and Terminal 4 by Menzies Aviation Group. YN53 GFG (T54) was one of the Scania OmniCity super low-floor buses running the service on behalf of London Underground. The Scania OmniCity UKBUS7003 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-mounted, double-glazed windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Other main features on the UKBUS7003 model include the route branding decoration on the bus. This branding, as well as the official “London Underground” logos, is permanently on the replica whilst they were placed onto the buses temporarily. This is of great worth for collectors. As key features of the UKBUS7000 series, UKBUS7003 has an extensive portrayal of handrails, the headlight / indicator units at the front are made of individual, translucent components to look more realistic and the red lights at the rear are made similarly, with the indicator and reversing light colours tampo-printed on top. The brand new Scania OmniCity bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Transit Graphics (Australia), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS7003 model is limited to 1700 pieces worldwide. To

PRESS
RELEASE FROM CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD LTD The below press release has been received from CMNL: Stagecoach in Devon – Brunel UKBUS1026 Alexander Dennis ALX400 Trident CMNL is proud to release a brand new livery on its well-known casting – the Alexander ALX 400-bodied Dennis Trident. This is UKBUS1026 carrying “Brunel 200” livery. This model represents Stagecoach 18368 (WJ55 NMA). The ‘Brunel 200’ bus livery was commissioned by Torbay Council to celebrate 200 years since the birth of the Engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The livery was designed by Graphic Design Student Mike Fryers, and applied to this Dennis Trident bus by Torbay Posters. This vehicle has attended special events such as the ‘Brunel 200’ official celebration on the Bristol Clifton Suspension Bridge in April 2006 and, more recently, the Dartmouth Regatta, parked near Dartmouth Railway Station, built as part of Brunel’s Great Western Railway but which, to this day, has never seen a train. The replica features excellent detailing, inside and out, including an opening engine door, engine detail and the representation of LED lights at the rear. This is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the windows and livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. The model has no unnecessary metal poles to hold it together. The brand new UKBUS1026 model is based on a Limited Edition of 1800 pieces produced. They will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Transit Graphics (Australia), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively.
