RELEASE FROM CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD LTD The below press release has been received from CMNL: NEW CASTING UKBUS6001 Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 Stagecoach London “Spirit of London” Creative Master Northcord Limited is pleased to announce the release of UKBUS6001, Alexander Dennis Enviro 400, the long awaited new casting of a distinctive modern double-decker in the United Kingdom. The first livery to be carried on the brand new model is Stagecoach London with eye-catching “Spirit of London” special livery. UKBUS6001 represents fleet number 18500 (LX55 HGC) that was new to Stagecoach London in 2005 and is significant as being the first Enviro400 to be delivered to Stagecoach. The bus has 10.8 metre long dual-door bodywork. 18500 is based at Stagecoach London’s Stratford Garage and operates on busy route 30 which runs between Hackney Wick and Marble Arch. The bus is named ‘Spirit of London’ in memory of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks in London on 7 July 2005. The Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 UKBUS6001 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-mounted, gasket windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on the UKBUS6001 model is its dual individual tree protectors at the front. The front dome on the model is significant, with its curved windscreens on both upper and lower deck. The model also replicates the one-off LED destination that was fitted to this bus, contrary to TfL practice. Creative Master Northcord is creating new design standards in the layout of the interior of both saloons. These features inside the compartments represent the really outstanding layout of the Enviro 400, such as, an additional seat behind the driving cab, additional ventilation equipment on the upper deck ceiling, and extensive portrayal of handrails on upper and lower deck, etc. The headlights at the front are made of individual components to look more realistic. The brand new Enviro400 bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Transit Graphics (Australia), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS6001 model is limited to 3000 pieces worldwide.

RELEASE FROM CREATIVE MASTER NORTHCORD LTD UKBUS7002 Scania OmniCity Metrobus “Fastway” Creative Master Northcord Limited is proud to release the brand new UKBUS7002, the first dual-door version of the UKBUS7000 Scania OmniCity model range and, more significantly, the first version fitted with guidewheels . UKBUS7002 represents fleet number 534 (YN03 WPP) that was new in August 2003 and entered into service on Metrobus’ Fastway network. Fastway is a high quality bus network in West Sussex and Surrey which combines sections of guided busway, dedicated bus lanes and traffic light priority. It is a partnership between local authorities and private companies, with the service operated by Go-Ahead company Metrobus. Two high frequency services are operated between Crawley and Gatwick Airport, with one route extending into Horley, Surrey. Metrobus took delivery of the first batch of ten Fastway Scania OmniCity buses in August 2003. With a bespoke livery and interior design, the vehicles are 12m long, 2.55m wide (2.6m including guidewheels) and are dual door. In 2005 a second batch of six OmniCity buses was delivered for the commencement of the second phase of operation of the Fastway service. The vehicles are fitted with guidewheels that allow them to travel along specially constructed concrete guideways along the route which automatically steer the bus. They are equipped with a low floor kneeling system and electric ramp for wheelchair access. The Scania OmniCity UKBUS7002 is a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-mounted, double-glazed windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Other main features on the UKBUS7002 model are the guidewheels at the front, and its extensive portrayal of handrails. The headlight / indicator units at the front are made of individual, translucent components to look more realistic and the red lights at the rear are made similarly, with the indicator and reversing light colours tampo-printed on top. The brand new Scania OmniCity bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Transit Graphics (Australia), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS7002 model is limited to 1700 pieces worldwide.

MASTER NORTHCORD - PRESS RELEASE Mercedes-Benz Citaro UKBUS5004 Arriva Manchester Mercedes-Benz Citaro UKBUS5007 Oxford Bus Creative Master Northcord Limited is proud to release two brand new liveries on its well known Mercedes-Benz Citaro casting. Both models have received significant, yet different, modifications to the tooling in order to represent, as close to 100% accuracy as possible, the real buses on the roads. UKBUS5004 represents fleet number Arriva North West’s 2851 (CX55 EAA). This Mercedes Citaro is one of three such vehicles with dedicated route branding for service 700 and with the destination set to Manchester. The model features a redesigned interior layout that includes the reduced seating capacity and luggage racks. Starting on 29th October 2005, Arriva North West’s service 700 runs from Manchester’s Piccadilly Railway Station to Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport. For the service, 3 Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses were purchased and numbered 2851-3. They were painted in the same style and colours as the Scania OmniCity buses that already operated between John Lennon and Liverpool city centre. UKBUS5007 represents fleet number 830 (X13 OXF) of Oxford Bus Company. 830 entered service in December 2003, to upgrade the X3 & X13 Oxford – Abingdon services. The bus was painted in a new and distinctive livery designed by Best Impressions. UKBUS5007 features the smooth, curved windscreen with the destination display set behind the windscreen glass rather than the protruding destination found on the Park & Ride Citaros in the fleet. This feature is one of the standard specifications on other Citaros that the Go-Ahead Group has purchased. Mercedes-Benz Citaro UKBUS5004 and 5007 models are each a one-piece casting whose clean lines accentuate the square-mounted, double-glazed windows and the livery application on which all logos and lettering are clearly legible. Another main feature on both models is the extensive portrayal of handrails. The headlight / indicator units at the front and indicator / tail light units at the rear are made of individual components to look more realistic. The brand new single-door Mercedes-Benz Citaro bus models will be distributed by John Ayrey Die-Casts Limited (UK), Porte Publishing Company (Japan) and Concorde Hobby Shop (HK) respectively. The UKBUS5004 and 5007 models are limited to 1700 pieces worldwide respectively.
