CODE 3 NEW ROUTEMASTER FROM LONDON OMNIBUS MODELS The following news and photographs have been received today from London Omnibus Models: "We are not at Brooklands at the weekend, due to there being no indoor stalls.LOM3 Is now in production and will be released at the beginning of May. The model is as follows: Total Production run: 20 The model shown in the photographs is a prototype and carries the
destination of: Lancaster Gate Priority ordering is going to our regular enthusiasts. 8 have already been pre-ordered. Any remaining models will be on sale at Brooklands' Routemaster event on June 26th (Subject to a successful booking,) and then at West Ham Garage on July 23rd. (We have booked for this event.)" EFE MODELS ANNOUNCED AT TODAY'S SOUTH EAST BUS FESTIVAL I had a great day at the Show today with my friend John Bennett. The weather was great, sunny and a temperature of about 14/15 degrees. I was really pleased with my £7.00 pre-booked ticket, which enabled me to go straight to the front of the queue rather than wait in a very long line waiting to pay and it included the free Festival programme. Mr and Mrs Joyce from EFE had a stall in the main hall and in addition to the announcement a couple of new models had on sale a selection of pre-production samples of the initial models in their Routemaster series priced at £15.00 each. I picked up a boxed pre-production sample of model 31701 Greenline RMC which differed from the production version in that it had incorrect window layout on the top deck. Two new models were announced and although they did not have pre-production samples of them on display they did have Design Cell images on the rear of their stall which I photographed: 24906
