Gallery_Bristol VR Hedingham L255

On Wednesday 2 April 2003 I was fortunate enough to be able to spend a couple of hours driving Hedingham Omnibuses Bristol VR3 fleet number L255, registration number STW30W. At that time she was based at Hedingham's, Tollesbury, Essex depot. L255 was represented in model form by EFE in March 1998 as model number 20414.

I took a number of photographs of the vehicle and thought they may be of interest rather than just the usual single external shot only. Whilst driving the bus, I wondered where she had served during her life and therefore when I got home I decided to find out. I am very grateful to Rob Sly of the Bristol Commercial Vehicles Enthusiasts web site for providing the history detailed below for me.
